RISING BUILDERS TRAINING PROGRAM
The Rising Builders program, where we empower residents and young adults through hands-on practice skills testing sessions designed to help them obtain multiple construction trade skills certifications. It also created a partnership with municipal agencies to train young adults in the Youth Career Program.
The renovation of Brick Church also provides training opportunities for construction and maintenance programs, including OSHA-30 certification, carpentry, electrical work, flooring, solar panel installation and sales, and other skills and credentials.
CONSTRUCTION
Skilled Trades & Union Apprenticeships
Our skilled trades programming introduces participants to the many lucrative opportunities in the building and construction field. Work with Unions, local contractors as plumbers, electricians, masons, HVAC technicians and more.
EAST ORANGE
CAREER ACCELORATOR PROGRAM (EOCAP)
The Career Accelerator Program will serve as a significant community benefit by addressing the critical need for workforce readiness among our residents. Through targeted soft skills training, job interview preparation, and resume development, the program will equip participants with the practical knowledge and confidence required to secure meaningful employment opportunities.
retail Training program
Courses in this program provide an overview about retail knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to build a professional career. Participants will also learn how to craft resumes and fill applications, learn interview and communication skills, read, write and calculate in customer service.
Youth CAREER
Training program
The Youth Career Training Programs collaborates with a variety of public and private organizations to create employment opportunities for marginalized youth. By leveraging city initiatives like community redevelopment projects, we developed the East Orange FastTrack Construction/Maintenance and Solar PV Training Programs to empower young individuals.
